These were the lines that I picked when I was asked what “my favorite lyrics” were by one of my lovely colleagues.
I’m not sure if they are my favorite lyrics of all time—back then I tried to browse all the songs I loved and came up with these lines, but I know they capture me well enough.
To me, there is no joy like enlivening. In fig tree reverie, I mean to breathe life into my memories, the food I crave, the products that I adore, the scenery that I can’t take my eyes off, and the smallest hobbies I try to make a habit of.
